Victorian era silver Albertina chain
These chains were originally worn connected to a fob watch, this one is not hallmarked with indicates continental silver as it acid tested as silver. Stylistically we know it is mid to late Victorian and I would date to around 1860-1890.
This chain has a delicate three chain design with a gold gilt slider charm and screw Albert swivel clasp. These are great statement pieces worn with another chain to create a unique neck mess stack or worn wrapped around your wrist. This piece is over 100 years old and should be worn gently, don’t hang anything heavy from it and gently remove after each wear. It has signs of wear and repair, some links are worn with age, I recommend only light and gentle use, sold as is.
#These are antique and have signs of general wear to them, I have deliberately not over polished them as I find the ages patina adds to the charm, they have had a light clean and polish.
